The Chamber’s Introduction to UK Shipping online course is an engaging online snapshot which will give participants an understanding of how the UK shipping industry operates, the regulations, constraints and current issues.

The UK Chamber of Shipping will be hosting its Safety and Environment Committee Meeting on 27 November 2023. Conducted in a hybrid format, participants have the option to attend in person at the ICS offices in London or join virtually. Those attending in person will be treated to a complementary buffet lunch.

Following on from two guidance documents aimed at improving the mental wellbeing of seafarers, published by the Chamber in conjunction with the trade unions, as well as webinars in 2020 and 2021, the Chamber is pleased to provide members with an opportunity to hear from Together All, an organisation dedicated to supporting those who are struggling with their mental health.

The Chamber will hold an International Shipping Trade seminar on 22 November consisting of 3 sessions: Vessel Vetting, Sustainability & Decarbonisation

The Annual Safety Seminar of the British Tugowners Association will take place on Thursday 16 November 2023 at Insurance Hall, London.
