Environmental, Social and Governance Policy

This policy statement sets out how our work, procedures and policies demonstrate good practice in the management of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters.

To produce our ESG policy, the UK Chamber of Shipping was guided by the 10 fundamental principles of the UN Global Compact.

The policy sets out the Chamber’s position and documents how we manage ESG matters internally as well as how we influence and advise the wider UK shipping industry on ESG matters. The ESG policy is a 'living document' that will evolve as our work, policies and procedures evolve.
