Start-Up Shipowner Membership - Further Information

The UK Chamber is offering free membership for British start-up shipowners.

This new initiative will give homegrown entrepreneurs and start-up businesses full access to the chamber's advice and support services that will help them to understand complex regulations and procedures - ensuring they have more time to concentrate on growing their business.

Details
  • The offer is made available to start up UK shipowning companies only. It is not being made available to companies that would typically fit into professional services or associate membership categories.
  • Companies must join within their first two years of trading as a shipowner.
  • Membership will last for one year only. Companies will then be rolled over to paying chamber membership unless they notify us otherwise. Discounts of 50% and 25% in the following two years offered to new paying members will still apply.
  • The offer is for ‘full’ membership, with all the rights that full membership entails.
  • The joining procedure will be the same as any other company including signing the UK Chamber terms of membership and approval by the UK Chamber Board.
