02 Jan 24 BTA Annual Safety Seminar 2023 Report of Proceedings The 2023 BTA Annual Safety Seminar took place at The Insurance Hall in London on Thursday 16 November with a record attendance of over 100 registered attendees spanning across towage operators, pilots, port & harbour authorities, insurers, accident investigators and manufacturers. The report of proceedings goes through the event in detail, describing some of the pertinent moments from the day. 18 Oct 2025 UK Chamber Statement on IMO MEPC Outcome The UK Chamber of Shipping has responded to the conclusion of the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) Extraordinary Session of the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC), which ended without the adoption of the proposed Net Zero Framework.
