The UK Emissions Trading Scheme (UK ETS) Authority has published an interim response to the 2024 UK ETS Expansion to Maritime consultation.

On July 1, the UK Chamber of Shipping’s Chief Executive, Rhett Hatcher, and Policy Manager, Robert Merrylees, attended the annual event of the International Organization for Marine Aids to Navigation (IALA) to mark World Marine Aids to Navigation Day 2025, which for this year was held at Trinity House in London.

The UK Chamber of Shipping welcomes the appointment of John Denholm CBE as Chairman Designate of the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), and of Thomas Kazakos as ICS Secretary General, succeeding Guy Platten after his dedicated tenure, for which we also give thanks.
