07 Sep 22 UK Chamber of Shipping reacts to new Transport Secretary The UK Chamber of Shipping has reacted to the appointment of Anne Marie Trevelyan as Transport Secretary Following the appointment of Anne Marie Trevelyan as Secretary of State for Transport UK Chamber of Shipping CEO Sarah Treseder said:“I warmly congratulate Anne Marie Trevelyan on her appointment as Secretary of State for Transport. Her significant cross-government experience will be invaluable in driving the policy alignment needed to maximise shipping’s contribution to the UK economy. Equally important will be the new Secretary of State’s support in meeting our ambitious decarbonisation commitments.
