12 May 2025 Industry secures further funding commitment for SMarT scheme The UK Chamber and MNTB have welcomed confirmation from the Government and Maritime and Coastguard agency, that seafarer cadets will continue to benefit from financial support for their training through the Support for Maritime Training Fund (SMarT) until at least 31 March 2026.
