06 Sep 24 Secretary of State for Transport to speak at Shipping UK Conference The UK Chamber of Shipping is delighted to announce that Louise Haigh MP, Secretary of State for Transport, will be the keynote speaker at the Chamber’s conference Shipping UK on 8 October. Shipping UK will focus on the challenges and opportunities the industry faces over the next decade and, importantly, the required solutions. 25 Mar 2025 UK Chamber Responds to the Maritime Decarbonisation Strategy The UK Chamber of Shipping has responded to the publication of a new Maritime Decarbonisation Strategy for the UK maritime sector. The Strategy, announced by the Department for Transport on 25 March sets out the Government goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030, 80% by 2040 and to zero by 2050. Read more News
