The Offshore Panel is one of the main sector specific policy groupings of the UK Chamber of Shipping, with its Chair also having a seat on the Chamber’s Supervisory Board.

Michael takes on this leadership role at a pivotal time for the UK offshore sector, as it navigates a critical period of transition with energy security, offshore renewable development, technological advancement and decarbonisation.

Michael commented:

The Offshore Panel—comprising over 20 operators with in excess of 300 vessels—serves as a vital forum for vessel owners, operators, and professional members of the Chamber to collaborate on policy, share knowledge, and track regulatory developments.

The Panel supports vessels across a diverse range of activities, including oil & gas, renewables, cable laying, offshore construction, and research & survey.
