The UK Chamber of Shipping is delighted to announce the Honourable Company of Master Mariners has joined the Chamber.

The Chamber of Shipping is the voice of the UK shipping industry and has nearly 200 members. The UK shipping industry contributes nearly £20bn a year to the UK economy and supports over 180,000 jobs.

Commenting on their membership, Captain Derek Chadburn Master of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners said:

“We are delighted to become a member of the UK Chamber of Shipping. It is an honour to become a part of this august organisation, which will inevitably enable us to highlight our work on behalf of our members and the wider maritime community.

“We welcome the opportunity to work with the Chamber in a number of different areas to further the aims of our members during their careers up to and beyond Master Mariners status both afloat and ashore.”
