Members are invited to attend the next meeting of the Chamber’s Safety and Environment Committee on Friday, 6 December, held at the ICS Offices in London from 10:00 - 14:15 GMT.
The Committee provides a platform for members to discuss key safety and environmental issues and inform the work of the Chamber. All members with an interest in these topics are encouraged to attend. The meeting on 6 December will feature a special presentation by Steve Jones (Director of Fundraising & Operations) and Anna Bunney (Head of Education) from the eNGO ORCA on options for whale and dolphin conservation in vessel operations. Other key agenda items include lithium-ion batteries, the ISM code, MARPOL revisions, ballast water, and exhaust gas cleaning systems.
