We are pleased to welcome a number of guest speakers for close examination of ongoing work on Electronic Charting Systems for the small vessel sector.
Jessica Stoodley and Steve Bastable, project leads at the UK Hydrographic Office to discuss ECS developments in the UK.
Andy Richardson, Chair of the International Hydrographic Organisation’s ECS Project Team to discuss ongoing work internationally.
Simon Ricketts, MCA Navigation Policy (Technology) Lead, to discuss the Sub <24m ECS Performance Standard, which the BTA has been actively engaged in producing, and is near publication.
The Panel is open to all Chamber, BTA, and BTA Associate members, with its purpose to identify issues and develop policy relating to harbour towage operations and to inform the work of the Secretariat. All members with an interest in harbour towage and related matters, including tug operators, class societies, law firms, P&I clubs, port authorities, marine consultants and others are encouraged to attend.
