Tim leads on maritime employment, health and safety and legal matters.  He led the UK shipowner delegation that negotiated the ILO Maritime Labour Convention and the reviews of the IMO conventions on Training and Certification and Limitation of Liability. Tim also chairs the ECSA Social Affairs Committee.

Tim holds a BA Degree in European Studies, a CPE Diploma in Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice.  He attained a Master's Degree in International Maritime Law from the World Maritime University in 2016.
