Weekly Bulletin: Friday 5 January 2024

Welcome to the first Bulletin of 2024 and a Happy New Year.

The New Year's Honours list saw recognition for a Chamber member and you can read more about this in the first item of the Bulletin.

You also still have time to complete our annual member survey. This is your opportunity to tell us what more we can do to help you so please take five minutes to fill it in.

Finally you can find details of our upcoming events, including our Annual Dinner, in the events section. Please make sure you register for any events that are of interest.

Congratulations to Peter Buchan, Nuclear Transport Solutions Managing Director of Shipping, on being awarded an MBE in the New Year's Honours list.

Peter’s career spans over 32 years and in that time he has played a key role in NTS' international business and ensuring the world-wide safe transport and storage of nuclear materials from across the globe.

You can read more about Peter's award on .gov.uk.

Members’ Survey

Please note this year’s Members’ Survey will close on 12th January. We have heard from around 30 people so far, but we would really like to receive more feedback to help the Chamber develop as a membership organisation.

The survey can be accessed online 'UK Chamber of Shipping' Membership Survey: November 2023 - January 2024 and will only take 5 minutes to complete.

Please remember three lucky people will be selected from the entries and receive a ticket to the Chamber’s Annual Dinner on 5th February at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House.
