Lord Desai and various industry leaders involved in the supply chain were also in attendance.Given the international nature of trade, the discussion centred around a range of topics, including the ability of developing countries and smaller businesses to monitor ESG commitments, which can be limited due to administrative, financial and technical restrictions. The landscape across the supply chain indicated that customers were becoming far more interested in seeing sustainable business practices.
