The UK Chamber of Shipping is delighted to announce Ineos Trading and Shipping as the latest organisation to join the Chamber.

Ineos Trading and Shipping has a growing fleet under their control, which includes the 27,500 cbm Dragon series of ships used to transport gases from the US to be used as feedstock for Ineos and customer sites in Scotland and Norway. The shipping team transports more than 6 million tonnes of products per year with around 2,000 movements per year across seaborne and inland routes.

Ineos Director of Shipping and Trading, Hugh Carmichael said:

“As we grow our shipping business, and as we see the issues facing shipping now and in the future,  we are keen to align with, learn from and contribute to global experts, and so are very pleased to be joining UK CoS ”

Welcoming Ineos, UK Chamber of Shipping Chief Executive Bob Sanguinetti said:

“Everyone at the Chamber is absolutely delighted to welcome Ineos to the Chamber. Ineos is known around the world and it shows the ongoing strength of the Chamber that we are attracting organisations of the calibre of Ineos. We have recruited a range of new members in recent months and by adding to our membership, we help raise the profile of our sector and increase our influence amongst politicians.

“We offer a range of benefits to our members and we hope Ineos will enjoy all of these and their expertise and experience will help strengthen the UK Chamber’s influence.”

The UK Chamber of Shipping has around 200 members, and works with Government, parliament, international organisations and others to champion and protect the industry.
