As a global leader in marine coatings, Jotun has identified the potential and need to document with data the performance of antifouling solutions. Hull and propeller performance are significant contributors to overall vessel efficiency and as such Jotun launched its Hull Performance Solutions in 2011 which struck a chord in the market. HPS, as an innovative solution, has been one of the major contributing factors leading to the creation of ISO 19030 standard in November 2016, which gave the market an open and transparent methodology to measure changes in hull and propeller performance.’’

EUROPORT partnered with SAFETY4SEA to stage a series of special awards concentrating on four specific themes: digital shipping; environmental protection; safety at sea and maritime careers.
