Nautilus International announced as Annual Dinner Silver Sponsor

Trade Union Nautilus International has been announced as a Silver Sponsor of the UK Chamber’s 2018 Annual Dinner.

Representing 22,000 maritime professionals in the UK, Netherlands and Switzerland, Nautilus International represents shipmasters, officers, cadets, ratings, yacht crew, VTS officers, harbourmasters, river boatmen, nautical college lecturers, maritime lawyers and even ship-based medical personnel.

Secretary General Mark Dickinson said:

“Nautilus International is pleased to be supporting the UK Chamber of Shipping’s Annual Dinner. We are once again highlighting our Jobs, Skills and the Future campaign, working alongside the Chamber to call for measures which will deliver enhanced support for the industry in our members’ mutual interests.

We thank the UK Chamber for their support and hope we will continue to work together for the benefit of UK shipping and UK seafarers.”

Guy Platten, CEO of the UK Chamber said:

“As a member of Nautilus myself, I know of the crucial role they play in promoting and representing the interests of seafarers and maritime professionals.  Our close collaboration, not least in campaigning for an enhanced Support for Maritime Training regime, benefits the entire industry.  I am delighted that they will be supporting the Annual Dinner.”
