The UK Chamber is proud to be an associated organiser of London International Shipping Week, where a range of events will take place across the capital between the 9 and 13 September 2013.

This new and important industry event will focus on London’s vital role in the positive development of global shipping and is set to be the high level networking opportunity of the year for leaders across all sectors of the international shipping industry.

The week’s central event is a conference on Thursday 12 September and the draft programme and booking information for this can be viewed on the website.

There are a host of other events taking place throughout the week. The UK Chamber is particularly pleased to note that Government has agreed to offer, with Maritime UK, a joint welcome reception at Lancaster House on the Tuesday, which has been very gratefully received.

UK Chamber Director-General, Mark Brownrigg, is a member of the LISW Steering Group and, though preparations are well underway, members and others from across the industry are invited to comment and to contribute ideas on events which might be combined with the week to help project the UK as a world maritime centre.
