UK Chamber joins judging panel for Lloyds List Global Awards 2013
Mark Brownrigg, Director-General of the UK Chamber of Shipping, will join other industry experts on the judging panel for this year’s Lloyds List Global Awards.
The UK Chamber is a supporting partner of the awards, which are an opportunity to publicly recognise the successes of the industry, set a benchmark for excellence and reward innovative ideas and concepts. Entry for the awards closes on 28 June.
The awards have rightly earned a reputation for being difficult to win and are seen as a significant achievement by the industry. The judging panel of industry experts is always fiercely critical and unswervingly objective in disseminating the entries.
Richard Meade, editor of Lloyds List, said:
"Recognition amongst peers is of course a motivating factor to enter and success will certainly earn you bragging rights, but past winners have also reported a tangible boost to business and marketing that money just can't buy as a welcome side-effect of success at the Lloyd's List Global Awards.”
