The main gold sponsor for this year's UK Chamber of Shipping Annual Dinner will be Inmarsat, industry leader and pioneer of mobile satellite communications. Established in 1979 to enable ships to stay in constant touch with shore or to call for help in an emergency, thousands of vessels continue to rely on Inmarsat's end-to-end service availability and coverage for operational communications and safety services.

The Annual Dinner will take place at the London Hilton on Park Lane, on Monday 3 February 2013, and will bring together individuals from across the maritime sector. Shipping Minister Stephen Hammond will speak, alongside UK Chamber President, Kenneth MacLeod and Edward Bowen QC, Sheriff Principal of Lothian and Borders.

Tickets includes the meal, and wine (two bottles of white and three of red per table of 10) and can be purchased by contacting Donna Stevens on dstevens@ukchamberofshipping.com or 020 7417 2840. Prices:

For UK Chamber members: £157.50 plus VAT

For non-members: £169.30 plus VAT.
