Join Now

There are currently 8 Charity Chamber members – Stella Maris, Mission to Seafarers, Seafarers’ Charity, Marine Society, Liverpool Seafarers Centre, Conway Merchant Navy Trust, Honourable Company of Master Mariners and Britannia Maritime Aid.

Membership Benefits include:

Use of the Charity Membership logo

An adapted UK Chamber of Shipping logo has been produced for Charity members to use in their marketing to help promote their affiliation with the Chamber.

Quarterly E-Communications

An e-newsletter, containing news and events of the Charity Members, is issued to all members each quarter.

Events

Charity members have the opportunity to attend Chamber networking events throughout the year. This is an excellent opportunity to promote the Charities' work and find industry partners.

Annual Dinner Charity

Although the charity chosen for the Annual Dinner is at the discretion of the Chamber President, Chamber Charity members are looked upon favourably. The Mission to Seafarers were the chosen charity in 2022, and Stella Maris raised £7,500 at the 2023 dinner.

Annual Dinner Discounts

The Chamber’s Annual Dinner is held at the glamourous JW Marriott Grosvenor Hotel, Park Lane London. More than 800 from the shipping community attended this event each year. Historically, members of the Chamber have received a 20% discount on Annual Dinner tickets.
