The second of the UK Chamber of Shipping series of breakfast briefings being held during LISW 2019 is going to focus on the future of innovation in the UK Maritime industry.  The event will bring together a panel of five leading industry experts from manufacturing, shipowning, finance, and trade unions who will discuss what’s not right in the maritime industry in recent times and what we need to change in order to take advantage of the opportunities and build a successful future. Although the subject is not restrictive, undoubtedly, decarbonisation and automation are expected to be central themes of these discussions.

The breakfast briefing will be on Tuesday 10th September at the UK Chamber of Shipping and start with a networking breakfast (0830 to 0900) leaving one hour for the panel discussions, thus finishing at 1000.

This is planned to be an interactive event, with the audience engaging by participating in polls and posing questions though slido [ #MarIn] prior and during the event.
