REGISTER NOW for the Annual Safety Seminar of the British Tugowners Association (BTA). 

The Annual Safety Seminar is on Thursday 11 November, being held in-person at the UK Chamber of Shipping, London. 
 

The full day seminar will examine recent incidents, legal and liability implcations of incidents, release new publications, discuss accident prevention and will hear from tug experts, pilots and investigators. With an audience of tug masters, pilots, marine superintendents, P&I clubs, lawyers and others, the aim is to inform, discuss and share best practice.
 

The day will run from 0930 - 1600 approximately with confirmed speakers & content of: 

  • Shipowners P&I
  • Penningtons Manches Cooper 
  • Maritime & Coastguard Agency - Port Marine Safety Code & Operational Safety
  • Marine Accident Investigation Branch
  • UK Maritime Pilots' Association
  • European Tugowners Association
  • Launch of the BTA's Second Edition of the Pilot's Pocket Guide
     
  • Recovery of Persons in Water
  • Review of Annual BTA Safety Statistics 2020 and trend analysis

 

All involved in harbour towage and pilotage are strongly encouraged to join and register via Eventbrite Link. 

Attendance is free for members of the BTA, Chamber, BPA, UKMPA and UKHMA, WA, along with invited guests. Non-member are welcome to join the day for £150.00.
