Robert joined the MNTB in February 2026 and is responsible for coordinating MNTB operational, financial, and compliance focused on the electronic Training Record Book (eTRB) system, logistics for the national "Careers at Sea" Ambassadors, and SMarT funding.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Robert managed regional and service financial processing and large-scale stakeholder coordination for major national NGOs, including Save the Children International and Alzheimer’s Society. With over 20 years of experience as a qualified Business Administration Specialist, his background is rooted in safety engineering, then regulation with the Audit Commission.
