Policy Director - Commercial and Governance

Katrina leads on commercial and governance issues. Her responsibilities include tax and economics, international trade, commercial shipping policy and, in particular, green and sustainable finance.

Katrina started her career in financial services, before moving into policy for the shipping industry. Katrina previously worked at the Chamber as a Policy Manager, and her responsibilities involved covering legal, documentary and taxation issues, as well as representing offshore rigs and vessels. 

Katrina is a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (MICS), with a Masters in Commercial Law (LLM) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC). Before returning to the Chamber in 2023, she led on tax and green finance policy for a financial services trade body.
